Force
In the term of physics, force is a push or pull that affects an objects direction and velocity. It causes objects to accelerate and is measured in Newtons. Force is always either a push, pull or a twist, and it effects them by pushing them up, pulling them down, pushing or pulling to a side or changing their motion or shape in some other way.
Newton's second law says that when there is a force on an object, then it will move faster and faster. If the force is weak and the object is heavy, then it will take a long time to increase the speed very much. But if the force is strong and the object is light, then it will move faster very quickly.
In the photograph above, in order for the cube to be moved,
The yellow figure wold have to apply force to it by either pushing, pulling
or turning it around.
We see force in our everyday lives. We see it when opening or closing a door, and when playing sports.
